Notes

Brief

Ostrelle is a small fish restaurant run by two brothers. The menu changes every day with the catch, so the identity had to work on paper printed that morning.

Work

We set the name in a narrow sans and had it painted by hand on the awning. The daily menu is one sheet, designed so the kitchen can update it in a text editor and print it on the office printer. Plates and tiles take the colour of the sand along the river.

  • Name mark and hand-painted sign
  • Daily menu template and wine list
  • Plates, aprons and the awning

Result

The restaurant opened in May 2023. The menu template is still printed every morning.
